First goal for the Reps
“Billy you need to get up” whispered my Mum. I feel nervous and stressed that I’m going to make a huge mistake. I have butterflies in my stomach that are fluttering all over the place. But I think to myself I am not going to make a mistake I will play amazingly.

The tension is building up, my hands are shaking like crazy. I’m trying to pump myself up by doing different stretches and talking to myself. My Dad says to me “ you're going to have a good game, I know you will. I go and put my rep gear on and put my Messi shin pads in my socks.

“ Hi Billy” I hear as I tie up my boots and go for a warm up with the rest of the team. We do shots against our goalkeeper to warm him up. The game has started and it's been quite a slow game but I was standing on the edge of the box and Benny our winger passed it to Flinn our striker who played it to me, I took a touch and blast it in the top left corner. “ Yeah I scream I feel so relieved. I am thrilled and I smile at my Dad and he smiles back at me.

After the match I go to my Dads football club and I see his team win. This was one of the best days of my life.
